5 Top Rated Questions

Does this chin spoiler color look like the oem chin spoiler and rocker panels? And does it fit directly over the original screw locations?

  • I would say this chin spoiler does help keep that OEM look, but keep in mind that it is an aftermarket design so it will not be exactly the same. However it is an easy install as it will bolt right up to your front bumper with the existing mounting points.

How is this held on? Does it use screws or is it held on by some sort of adhesive?

  • The Street Scene Gen 1 Chin Spoiler (10-12 V6) will be held on by 3M tape and self-tapping screws to ensure the spoiler does not come loose.

Do i have to paint it? or can you use it as is, without risking damage to it?

  • We highly recommend prepping and painting the chin spoiler before installation.

Does this spoiler require the removal of the factory spoiler?

  • The Street Scene Gen 1 Chin Spoiler is designed to be used with a factory fascia without a front spoiler/splitter.

Is there any way I can put a splitter with two connecting rods under this street scene gen 1 chin spoiler for a 2011 v6? Or is there any way I can get a splitter with the rods without having to change the whole front?

  • The Street Scene Gen 1 Chin Spoiler does not have the provisions for the connecting rods. We currently do not have a front splitter that will allow for two connecting rods for a V6.

Just received my chin spoiler. In preparing for installation, I found that the original had been broken partially off and replaced shoddily, using zip ties in some places. I am going to have a new one put on, replacing all the original parts that it was attached to. It looks to me as though the GEN 1 fits directly over the original, with the screws going right into the original (ends). Is that true? 1 answer

    Stock appearance

Installed on 2010 V6 convertible, now it looks like a man's car. I use rivets to install instead of hardware included to save time on install

    Quality part

I added this to my V6 Convertible to give it a little different look. It is a well made part that I could install alone in about 2 hours. It isn't any lower than the factory spoiler, but it does stick out farther to the front of the car, so keep that in mind when parking. I have had no problems with it dragging any more than before. I removed my lower grill and was able to install it that way without removing the lower cover. I didn't paint mine as I like the look of the factory finish. I feel it is a little overpriced for what it is, but I would buy it again due to the final look of the product.

    Mean look for small price

Great product, was a little scratched from the shipping process, double sided tape that was given didn’t work and the screws were cheaper so I used self tapping ones instead. Great mod if you’re looking for a meaner look than the stock parts

    so far so good

Fit was great on my 11 v6 w/pony pkg. Part had no imperfections (other than a small area that had been jitterbuged...no prob there unless you wanted to leave it the unpainted semigloss black.)

A bit hard to measure for that "glove fit"

Only complaint is that this is a two man job only in that the second individual is to be the guide when the chin spoiler is ready to be placed on the bumper. Meaning the tape strips are ready to stick on the number because if measured incorrectly then it's really difficult to start over.

    Great Buy

This is exactly what the front end of my car needed. Really tied the whole care together and I get compliments like crazy everywhere I go just because of this new chin spoiler. It is very easy to install and would highly recommend this to anyone.

    Looks better than stock!

I do like the look of this spoiler way better than the stock one which is weak and useless. Along with my lowering springs It is real low to the ground. I have to be careful when parking or it will get wrecked on the curb. Overall lt is worth it.

    looks cool

spoiler is well made . Screws they sent were cheap so I used clip nuts and stainless bolts . Fitment is good . Makes my V-6 look nasty from the front .

    Sexy

This chin spoiler looks so sexy if done right, and it will take you less time if you have the right tools from the start. The instructions forget to tell you that there's a plastic cover you have to remove to access the inside of the bumper to be able to screw the nuts on the screws, but besides that it gives the car a new subtle look

    Needed help

Was looking for something to dress up the front end. This spoiler fit the bill. I was installing a new bumper and was tired of the stock spoiler. With the bumper off, it was easy to install and fits like a glove. Little pricey but well worth it.

    Pulls The Entire Front Together!!!

So I have a v6 and there aren't that many options for a lower chin spoiler. I saw this added recently and was iffy on it but with the low pricing there wasn't much to lose. Boy am I glad I paid to buy this! It's much less than an entire Front GT swap and it completely pulls the front end together! Doesn't make my 6 banger look like a rocket ship anymore. I suggest buying this, it will change the way you look at your pony!
