Improves Handling. ST Suspensions SportTech Lowering Springs will lower your S197 Pony's center of gravity, to reduce squat during acceleration, body roll in the corners and excessive nose-dive under hard braking. SportTech Springs have been thoroughly tested and inspected for superior strength and reliability, all while providing optimal performance and comfort, making these the perfect springs for daily driving and occasional track use.

Aggressive Stance. Custom wound from high-tensile steel, ST Suspensions SportTech Lowering Springs will not only improve the handling of your S197 Mustang, but they also improve the overall appearance by lowering the ride height approximately 1.4" in the front and 1.4" in the rear, eliminating that nasty raised 4x4 truck look for a more aggressive muscle car stance.

Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. These lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your factory size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle's pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.

Application. This set of four ST Suspensions SportTech Lowering Springs are designed specifically for use on 2005-2014 Coupe and Convertible Mustangs, including the V6 and GT models. Does not fit the Shelby GT500.

    ST suspension lowering springs

Fantastic product. The drop is noticeable visually, and very noticeable performance wise. Let me add that I put KONI STR.T struts and shocks as well as a Stallion aluminum double adjustable panhard bar on, all in the same afternoon. The car (2005 V6 Conv.) corners incredibly well with almost no body roll, no loss of traction during hard cornering (255 wide tires all around), and no nose diving during breaking. You read that right, and that's no exaggeration. The drop is enough to make a visual difference, without a daily driving inconvenience- I haven't bottomed out yet. I cut the bumpstops about 1.4 inches to give the car the same amount of travel it had stock. My only other afterthought is that, now that I've seen my car low, I want to cut another half inch off the springs and go lower! For some reason the lowering springs market for convertibles is very slim, you probably won't find better springs, and definitely not for a better price than at AM. I have submitted a picture of my car so that people can see what the drop looks like. #SWETNLO *The best alignment shop around here was able to align my car the next day perfectly without camber bolts or camber plates.*

    07 gt convertible

I originally replaced my springs and did other work to the car when I bought the car in 07. Springs lasted 10 years. New springs are great. No longer afraid of bumps. Handle great again. Even at high speeds
