Important Tire Rotation Note. When rotating tires that are equipped with TPMS sensors it is important to reuse the TPMS Transmitter Tool to recalibrate the sensors. By rotating your tires you are changing the physical location of the sensors and your cars computer will need to update to be aware of this location change. Failure to do so will result in inaccurate and incorrect low tire pressure monitoring.

Cheaper than all the rest
Great product. I did some price checking on other sites and here is the best price for the quality of the item. Most places charge 20-40 more for the same thing. Worked great on the install.Helpful (0)

I had them installed with the purchase of a sweet set of rims and tires, it literally took me all of 2 minutes to sync the TPMS sensors with my ride, hassle free is definitely for me.Helpful (1)

Get Ford OEM
Recommend getting Ford oem tpms. My tpms fault light randomly comes on and off. I think I've read other reviews with these issues.Helpful (1)

Great kit if it all worked correctly
The kit itself is perfect for a new set of tires and or wanting to do your own tire rotations and such, the issue is that i get a tpms malfunction indicator in my dash if i drive more than 15mins at a time. this started happening right after i got my wheels and tire mounted and balanced.Helpful (3)

Just a note to let you know how nice it is to have a tpms full mounting/balancing kit. I can get in my stang and go without having to check the tires. More time to drive less time to worry.Helpful (1)

The most expensive option
My dealer called that these won't sync with the car so they have to take the whole setup apart, install Ford sensors ($300) and will charge me for all the extra work. Thanks for wasting at least $200.Helpful (6)
where is the video for this . can not find it. you should include link to video next to the paragraph that explains it.
The instructions for the TPMS Full Mounting and Balancing Kit can be found at the link below. At this time we do not have a video of this procedure. https://lib.americanmuscle.com/files/tpms-reset-instructions.pdf
I received 4 rims with the #76161 package. Can someone tell me why the remote wont sync the sensors to my car??
So I just bought premium wheels from a 2015 mustang, but my car is a 2012 mustang, I was wondering if I can just buy the tool and re-sense them with the 2015 tpms sensors or my ECU wont recognize them?
Unfortunately, the TPMS sensors from the 2015Mustang wheels are completely different than the sensors that your car will recognize and you will need to purchase new sensors or transfer your 2012 sensors to the new wheels.
Can I program my TPMS with a tune on my car or will I have to do on stock?
TPMS sensors can be synced to a vehicle with a custom tune installed.
Hello, I bought 19 inch rims and Pirelli tires from a new 2017 ecoboost mustang with the performance package and sold my 18 inch rims that were on my 2012 mustang v6 premium. The TPMS light did not come on for a few weeks after I installed the new wheels. Can Ford or someone tune my 2017 style TP sensors to work on my 2012 V6 ECU module? If not what sensors should I buy? If I buy these will they fit on the nice new wheels? need some advice. Thanks in advance.
Ford May be able to use their IDS Service program to change the frequency for the TPMS sensors. they will need to be consulted to see if this is an adjustable feature on your model year. The TPMS Full Mounting/Balancing Kit will fit 2017 wheels and function with the 2012 computer.
These can be installed into aftermarket wheels. You will need to have the wheels and tires remounted and balanced and then the TPMS sensors would need to be synced to the vehicle.
We normally recommend replacing your TPMS sensors when you get new wheels, however, the old ones can be swapped over into the new wheels.
The TPMS Full Mounting/Balancing Kit - 4 Wheels (10-14 All) will work with any wheel and tire you purchase from our website, it is simply indicative of pairing the sensors with the correct car. So with your 2012 you will have no issues.
Yes. The valve stems are a part of the whole assembly kit. They come pre assembled and put on the wheel for you.
Any time you swap your wheels and tires on your Mustang, you will need to resync the sensors. The same tool can be used for both sets of wheels/tires, but after you remove a set from the car, they need to be reset to the computer in order to monitor the tire pressure correctly.
You should be able to re-use your stock TPMS sensors as long as they are not damaged in removal and your installer is familiar with them. You will need to either get a syncing tool (that comes with this kit) or visit a Ford dealership to make sure the sensors are synced (re-synced) in the correct locations for the new wheels. Good luck with your build!
100% correct! You'd want to take this kit with you to the tire shop when you get them mounted/balanced. They will fit your Foose Wheels with no problems! Hope this helps!
These sensors come with a remote so you can sync them yourself. The remote is a Motorcraft product so Ford should be able to sync them if you wish to have them do it.
