    Features & Details

    • Eliminates Annoying Dash Light
    • Easily Switch Between Winter and Summer Rims.
    • Includes 4 TPMS Sensors and Syncing Tool.
    • Designed for All 2010-2014 Mustangs.
Turns Off Dash Light. Your Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) alerts you when the pressure drops to an unsafe limit. This a great safety feature, but if you plan on upgrading to a new set of rims you will need to install new sensors in your new wheels, if not you will have an annoying dash light constantly reminding you that your sensors are missing. This TPMS Full Mounting/Balancing Kit makes it possible to install new sensors into your new rims and sync them to your cars computer - eliminating that annoying dash light.

TPMS Transmitter Tool. The TPMS Transmitter is used to sync the new sensors to your cars computer after you have installed them onto your Mustang. You simply point the transmitter at the wheel listen for the cars horn and move to the next tire. Watch our video explaining the whole process.

Kit Contents. This TPMS Kit comes complete for use on four wheels and includes 4 Stem-Mounted TPMS Sensors and 1 TPMS Transmitter Tool. This kit makes it easy to switch between your stock rims and aftermarket rims at will. The TPMS Transmitter Tool can be purchased separately if you already have your sensors.

Important Tire Rotation Note. When rotating tires that are equipped with TPMS sensors it is important to reuse the TPMS Transmitter Tool to recalibrate the sensors. By rotating your tires you are changing the physical location of the sensors and your cars computer will need to update to be aware of this location change. Failure to do so will result in inaccurate and incorrect low tire pressure monitoring.

Hello, I bought 19 inch rims and Pirelli tires from a new 2017 ecoboost mustang with the performance package and sold my 18 inch rims that were on my 2012 mustang v6 premium. The TPMS light did not come on for a few weeks after I installed the new wheels. Can Ford or someone tune my 2017 style TP sensors to work on my 2012 V6 ECU module? If not what sensors should I buy? If I buy these will they fit on the nice new wheels? need some advice. Thanks in advance.

    • Ford May be able to use their IDS Service program to change the frequency for the TPMS sensors. they will need to be consulted to see if this is an adjustable feature on your model year. The TPMS Full Mounting/Balancing Kit will fit 2017 wheels and function with the 2012 computer.

i have no tpms in my aftermarket wheels i have right now and i'm tired of the light on my dash, i can just buy this kit and install them on my wheels right? i went to ford and asked if they could do it for me, but they said they couldn't. didn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

    • These can be installed into aftermarket wheels. You will need to have the wheels and tires remounted and balanced and then the TPMS sensors would need to be synced to the vehicle.

I am keeping my old pirelli tires. all i am doing is changing the rims. Do i need to buy this if i am not getting new tires?

    • We normally recommend replacing your TPMS sensors when you get new wheels, however, the old ones can be swapped over into the new wheels.

I got a 2012 mustang v6 with 20 inch wheels with low profile tires, to be more specific the tires are 255/35R20 for the front, and 275/35R20 on the rear. Would 5 his kit work for my car with those wheels and tires I mentioned before? Thank you in advance.

    • The TPMS Full Mounting/Balancing Kit - 4 Wheels (10-14 All) will work with any wheel and tire you purchase from our website, it is simply indicative of pairing the sensors with the correct car. So with your 2012 you will have no issues.

Valve Stems I'm assuming that the valve stems do not come with the kit?

    cgc9550

    • Yes. The valve stems are a part of the whole assembly kit. They come pre assembled and put on the wheel for you.

      Second time is a charm!!

I originally purchased the TPMS mounting kit when I ordered my AMR rims and tires. The TPMS sensors where installed by AM and the tires and rims balanced and rotated before being shipped out. I received the tires and rims and followed the synching instructions provided on the DVD. I attempted to synch the sensors several times with no luck. I called AM and was told that the sensors where in "sleep mode" and I had to deflate the tires (good bye hydrogen) and re-inflate the tires to activate the sensors. Again, no luck!! I then deployed (I am active duty Air Force) for about a year and was not able to fix the problem before I left. When I returned I contacted AM again about the issue. Apparently from what I was told they received a shipment of "bad" sensors and that I may have received a bad set of sensors. After talking to AM about the situation they agreed to mail out a set of new sensors but I had to cover the cost of having them installed ($55.00) and I had to mail back the old set within 30 days. Long story short, I eventually got the sensors installed and synched up to the car and FINALLY got rid of that annoying low tire pressure light!!!

I tried to "train" my sensors in my tires and the provided transmitter is defective… So now I have to get everything taken care of in a shop and spend MORE MONEY :(

      TPMS full mount/bal kit

Directions were easy to follow, product appearance and fit was exactly as shown. I had no problem at all calibrating after install. So far my experience with American Muscle has been great.

I almost did not buy this as I was going to have a shop or dealer change my tries each season, but decided I might want to at some point and would need it... As soon as I got my wheels and tires I had to put them on and needed this tool. Worked great and just like the DVD states. If you plan on changing your wheels and tires for the seasons... you need this and it works well. Get it.

      Worth it!

I was getting a bit frustrated with activating these sensors. The video helped , but lacked much needed information. I call tech support and was told to disconnect the battery, all this did was cause me to have to reset the stereo. I waited a few days driving with the TPMS light on. No issues. Then called again, the second guy said the were in "sleep mode" from shipping. So to wake up the sensors we had to deflate all 4 tires then inflate them. I did this at a tire shop I used to work at, and they didn't think it would work. Well it did. I was able to do what the showed in the video all in about 40 seconds. So my advice is deflate the tires and inflate them then put them on the car.

      Expensive choice

I purchased this set for a second set of 2013 Ford Track Pack wheels I'd purchased. They worked fine for 4 months, then began to fail. I got a discounted cost on my first failure from American Muscle for one sensor. Within a month two more failed. Then I Purchased a set of four OEM sensors and have had no problems since. Buyer beware!

      Works...

I put together a staggered black Magnetic style wheel package with HTR Z III's and at the same time had AM install these TPM's... What can I say more about these? They work and no TPM light has appeared on my dash. One curious thing though; I must have lucked out and installed my wheels in just the right corners because I NEVER got a TPM light (and haven't since, after about 150 miles) even without using the synching tool yet! AM if you see this when you post this review; has this happened before? Asking only because there's a slight concern that maybe there's something goofy with my TPM system (although I doubt it being a bought-new-and-babied 2014 GT Prem). Everyone else seems to have needed to use the synching tool and I haven't seen any posts from folks who have experienced the same...

      Easier than I expected.

The DVD instuctions were less than 3 minutes long and told you and showed you what to do.Took less than 10 minutes to sync my new wheels to the car.Like that the original system on the car is kept working correctly.

TPMS mounting/balancing kit for 10-12 mustangs is great!

I purchased a new set of wheels and tires for my 10' mustang, but i wanted to keep my stock wheels and tires for future changes. My local performance dealer wanted $350 for the cheapest tpms sensors they could find for my car! AM had an incredible price and the supplied instructional video was so easy it made installation a breeze! Took about three days till they arrived on my doorstep and only took a matter of minutes to install. I would recommend these sensors and programming tool to anyone who needs tpms sensors on their 10-12 stang.

      Great Product !

Bought the complete kit to put in my new tires and rims. My mechanic installed the new chrome valve sensors ( chrome matched my rims) I took them home and installed the new rims on the car , watched the video( Remember the key turns) and programmed to car in 2 minutes. I highly recommend this kit when getting new rims & tires

      TPMS Kit

The CD was of no use, had to take the car to a Ford dealer and use their procedure to get training mode to activate and then use the clicker you provided to activate each tire. Cost me $25 to get this done.

      The most expensive option

My dealer called that these won't sync with the car so they have to take the whole setup apart, install Ford sensors ($300) and will charge me for all the extra work. Thanks for wasting at least $200.
