Description
Performance External Wastegate. The Turbosmart GenV CompGate40 External Wastegate; 7 PSI is designed for precise boost control on turbocharged engines without internal wastegates. It regulates exhaust flow to the turbo, ensuring controlled boost levels which protect the engine and optimize performance during racing or high-performance applications.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed using high-temperature 347 stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance, it features a Nitronic 60 valve guide and stainless steel springs (17/7 PH). The wastegate is finished in a sleek black coating that offers both aesthetic appeal and functional thermal protection.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and some adaptation, as it is designed for use with custom or modified exhaust manifolds. No drilling is typically required due to the direct fit design with previous models, but custom fitting may be necessary for some setups.
Application. Fits Universal; Some Adaptation May Be Required due to the nature of external wastegates needing custom or aftermarket exhaust manifolds for proper installation.
