Description
Ultimate Launch Control. The UMI Performance Drag Rear Sway Bar for 3-Inch Rear Axle Tubes in black is engineered to keep your Camaro launching straight off the line by eliminating torque steer and improving traction. Its primary function is to improve 60-foot times and launch consistency, making it essential for serious drag racers seeking reliable and controlled starts. Adjustable end links allow fine-tuning preload for optimal launch performance.
Durable High-Strength Materials. Made from 1.250" solid 4140 chrome moly steel that is heat treated and formed as a single piece, this sway bar delivers maximum strength and durability. It includes heavy-duty chrome moly rod ends with hard chrome plating and a Teflon self-lubricating race for longevity. The assembly uses high-strength 4140 chrome moly u-bolts, grade 8 bolts, and CNC machined mounts with teeth to prevent sliding on the axle. The powder-coated finish provides excellent corrosion resistance and a clean black appearance.
Installation. Designed for a direct bolt-on to factory mounting holes with no required frame or axle modifications, this kit is straightforward to install. Welding the brackets to the frame is recommended for maximum strength and optimal performance, though the sway bar can be installed and driven to a shop for welding as needed. Installation typically requires about two hours and includes all necessary hardware.
Application. Fits 1993-2002 Chevrolet Camaro models featuring 3-inch rear axle tubes, requiring no additional modifications.
