Description

Performance Suspension Upgrade. The UMI Performance Rear Upper Control Arms in red are engineered to strengthen and improve rear suspension performance by reducing unwanted movement and increasing traction during cornering or motorsport activities. These arms serve as direct bolt-on replacements providing enhanced durability and handling characteristics over the factory components.

Construction and Appearance. Built from mild steel with precision TIG welding, the control arms feature 4130 chrome-moly tube adapters and CNC machined aluminum bushings. Finished with a durable powder coat in a striking red color, the arms resist corrosion and wear while offering a clean, professional look.

Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling, as it bolts directly onto the factory rear axle housing. The process typically takes around one hour, making it accessible for most experienced automotive enthusiasts.

Application. Designed specifically for the 1979 to 2004 Ford Mustang models, these control arms are not compatible with the 1999-2004 Cobra variant due to differing suspension geometry.
