Improve Traction. If you're not "hooking up" off the line then a set of J&M Weight Jacker Rear Lower Control Arms are the answer to your problem. These lower control arms will eliminate wheel hop, and improve traction keeping your Mustang's rear end planted for straight-line traction and cornering performance.

Height Adjustable. J&M Weight Jacker Rear Lower Control Arms allow the driver to adjust the rear ride height for perfect launches every time. Lower your Mustang 1" or raise it by 2" by using a NASCAR style weight jack system.

Superior Construction. J&M's lower control arms are manufactured from high strength 2" round steel tubing, making them lighter, stronger, and more resilient to bending than the competitors rectangular or square tubed control arms.

Ball Bushing Design. These arms feature a Patent Pending 3-piece Poly-Ball bushing design that incorporates a very hard inner polyurethane ball surrounded by two soft polyurethane outer cups. The result is great traction during straight-line acceleration and predictable grip during hard cornering.

Application. These J&M Weight Jacker Rear Lower Control Arms are designed for street use on all 1979 to 1998 Mustangs, including the LX, V6, GT, and SVT Cobra models. Sold as a set of two control arms.

Will installing these and adjusting one side higher to compensate the dreaded foxbody lean affect the performance of driving the car?

        • should not hurt as long as you adjust both sides. if the lean is extreme adjust low side up and high side down a little.if lean isnt to bad then do raise the low side only. good luck.

Use with lowering springs I already have Eibach Sportline Springs, and I don't want to cut them to lower my rear end. If I buy these control arms, will it drop my rear end another inch, even with the lowering springs?

        • The J&M Weight Jacker Rear Lower Control Arms will lower your Mustang 1" or raise it by 2" now keep in mind and remember that this kit is adjustable meaning you will be able to lower or raise it on your own. Good luck RP

            Killer stance

These are absolutely fantastic. gave my ride the proper stance it needed and installation was easy just remember to use a lot of grease that is supplied with the kit for bushing install.

            Great product!

These adjustable rears work awesome and they are very easy to install, and easy to adjust the ride height. I needed these badly after installing my lowering springs and adding bigger rear tires.

            Don't waste your money

Save yourself hours of headache and buy ones with the bushing already installed. It's near impossible to get the bushing flushed so it makes them difficult to fit when trying to install. So buy the pre-installed bushing weight jacker you'll be happier you did.

            Definate handling improvement

They looked great right out of the box, built very well. I had to install the bushings in them using the supplied grease, The fact that they are adjustable is great, i can fine tune my ride height for street or strip. All in all its a great product that i would recommend to anyone

            Nice product!

I was very happy with purchase of these lower control arms. I had a previous set of arms which needed new bushings and gave me a wandering feeling on accel/decal. Worst part about the arms are assembling the control arm bushings and balls.

            Great improvement over stock!

I was originally looking to get the MM adjustable lowers but the J&M ones were cheaper. I did a bit of research and went ahead and ordered these. The 3 piece bushing is great, install wasn't too bad. You're better off with a friend helping you. The welds are great, the adjustable ride height is easy to use, and the control arms provide great grip. Would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a good, cheap improvement over stock. My car is now slammed in the rear and I didnt have to sacrifice my ride quality.

Love the 3 piece bushing design & adjustable ride height.

I purchased these "Street" Weight Jacker lowers because of my previous experience with J&M Products. Love the 3 piece bushing design because it is soft yet durable. These control arms are quiet and well constructed. I also love the fact I can adjust my ride height to exactly where I want it. The black powder coating finish and welds are very nice. Coupled with the J&M uppers is a very street friendly package. I have not noticed any wheel hop on acceleration. I have had many different control arms through out the years and the 3 piece bushing design is far more superior than all the others. If you are thinking of buying this style control arm I highly recommend them for street use. If your looking for something for the drag strip get the J&M "Street-Race" weight jacker version. They held up flawlessly for 4 years of launches on SLICKS. They were still in good condition when I removed them. J&M products are built to last.
