Description
Precision-Tuned Drag Suspension. The UMI Performance Drag Race Double Adjustable Rear Coil-Over Kit delivers race-grade suspension control for 1993 to 2002 Camaro owners targeting maximum traction and tunability. Designed specifically for drag racing applications, this kit allows 19-way adjustability for both compression and rebound, giving drivers the ability to fine-tune their launch and track behavior. With ride height adjustment from -1 to +1 inch, it offers both performance and flexibility in competitive setups.
Construction and Appearance. Built in the USA in Philipsburg, PA, this coil-over kit features a robust direct bolt-in upper mount with a double shear design for superior strength. The lower bracket is FEA-designed and only requires a single 3/8-inch hole per side—no welding needed. The system supports 2.5-inch racing coilovers and includes 3/16-inch shims for rear-end adjustment. The 110 lb. spring rate is optimized for drag applications, and compatibility testing has been done with UMI's 1.5-inch trailing arms, 22mm sway bar, and 32mm drag anti-roll bar.
Installation. Installation is moderately difficult and may require trimming or component relocation, depending on the setup. A spanner wrench and thrust bearing kit are recommended for easier adjustments but are not included.
