      Replace Your Mustang’s Worn Supercharger Drive Belt. Your Mustang’s Supercharger Drive Belt is essential to the functionality of its centrifugal supercharger, driving the impeller to create a boost; without it, the forced induction system would be rendered useless. Like any other drive belt, a Cog/Gilmer Supercharger Drive Belt must be inspected and frequently replaced at manufacturer-specified service intervals to ensure the proper functionality of the supercharger and the reliability of the belt. Keeping a belt in service past the recommended service interval runs the risk of breaking a belt, leaving you and your Mustang stranded. When the time comes to service your supercharger drive belt, install a premium Vortech replacement for superior reliability and performance.

Unlike ribbed drive belts, Cog/Gilmer-style supercharger drive belts feature a series of teeth that run perpendicular to the belt, interlocking with matching teeth on the supercharger drive gear.
