Vortech V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger Kit with Charge Cooler; Satin Finish (2001 Mustang Bullitt)

Boost Your Bullitt. The Vortech V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger w/ Charge Cooler - Complete Kit - Satin is a bolt on kit for your Bullitt Mustang that will give it the extra performance lieutenant Frank Bullitt would need, while maintaining its drivability. The Vortech centrifugal supercharger offers 390 horsepower and 396 ft/lbs of torque gain for the Buillitt. These numbers are achieved on a low boost level of 7.5-8.5 psi, leaving plenty of life on your engine. The V-2 is capable of a maximum boost level of 26 psi and can spin a maximum speed of 55,000 rpm. This easy fit supercharger kit is much more efficient than its root-style counterparts, keeping the heat off your engine. This blower allows you to continue use of the stock intake/OEM airbox and gives you the option of using an aftermarket cold air intake. Keeping the supercharger cool is an air to water intercooler guaranteeing cold air, and therefore a consistent improved power output. A battery relocation kit is required due to intercooler placement. Thanks to high quality parts such as the high-flow Roto-molded ducting and stainless-steel construction, this unit is guaranteed to last. The Vortech supercharger is a CARB compliant unit. High flow pump and injectors included along with EDM chip.

Installation. Installation of the centrifugal supercharger will take at least six hours. The mounting brackets, hardware, idlers and drive belt for the V-2 is included in the package. Various idler locations are available allowing a wide range of belt and pulley fitments. Tools required for the job include: a ratchet set, wrenches and various other hand tools.

Lifetime Warranty. This satin colored supercharger is offered with an optional 3 year/36,000 mile powertrain warranty and a lifetime structural warranty.

Technical Note. This Supercharger Kit is designed to be used on stock applications, as Vortech will only provide a tune for the stock motor with stock exhaust or most aftermarket cat-back exhaust systems. If your vehicle is no longer stock and has been upgraded with an aftermarket throttle body, cold air intake, headers, off-road mid-pipe, etc..., Vortech will not be able to provide a tune for your modifications. Modified cars will require custom tuning. Also vehicles with ECU codes of RKN or MDE will not be supported by Vortech, custom tuning will be required for operation.
