      Description

      Upgrade Head Unit. This direct bolt-on replacement upgrade gives you the ability to run far higher boost levels than the factory 122ci roots-type supercharger or 2300 TVS while dramatically lowering supercharger discharge temperatures and power consumption. If you want the best of the best, the Whipple Gen 5L 3.0L is just that. The Whipple kit not only offers a better supercharger, but the potential to have one of the fastest, most powerful street machines on the road today.

      Whipple Technology. Whipples Gen 5 superchargers feature a new 3x4 rotor combination for increased RPM capacity, large diameter for increased airflow and small leak path, as well as increased helix for optimal sealing. This 3x4 rotor combo significantly increases in airflow under the curve, when compared to other companies less efficient 4x4 roots design. Whipple Superchargers feature a massive oversized intercooled air-bypass system for an industry leading reduction of burst knock and incredible fuel economy.

      Application. This Whipple W185AX 3.0L Intercooled Supercharger Upgrade Kit; Black is designed to fit 2007-2012 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 models.
