Description
HIGH-PERFORMANCE BRAKING SYSTEM. The Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit with 14-Inch Drilled and Slotted Rotors and Red Calipers is engineered to provide superior stopping power for both street and track use. This kit is designed for heavy-duty applications, delivering consistent performance under high heat and extreme braking conditions. It enhances safety and control, especially for vehicles with increased weight or upgraded wheels and tires.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. The calipers are precision manufactured with six stainless steel pistons and finished with a corrosion-resistant red powder coat for durable aesthetics. Rotors are crafted from Spec-37 iron, featuring a directionally staggered vane design with drilled and slotted surfaces, and finished in black electro coat to resist corrosion while promoting efficient heat dissipation.
INSTALLATION. The kit installs using a radial mount system compatible with factory disc or drop spindles, requiring no drilling or machining modifications. Installation is straightforward for experienced automotive technicians using standard tools.
APPLICATION. This big brake kit fits 1997 to 2013 Corvette C5 and C6 models, providing a precise upgrade without compromising ABS or master cylinder compatibility.
