Description
Big Brake Performance. The Wilwood SX6R Dynamic Front Big Brake Kit with 15-Inch drilled and slotted rotors and red calipers delivers high capacity braking suitable for extreme duty and race vehicles. It offers enhanced stopping power for both street and track applications and is designed to accommodate increased wheel and tire upgrades while remaining compatible with the original equipment master cylinder and ABS functions.
Construction and Appearance. This kit features six-piston SX6R calipers finished in durable red powder coat for corrosion resistance and visual appeal. The rotors are constructed from Spec-37 iron and are drilled and slotted with a black electro coat finish to maximize cooling efficiency and heat dissipation during aggressive braking. Aluminum rotor hats are anodized with Type III for durability and aesthetic quality.
Installation. This kit is designed for straightforward installation on vehicles equipped with drop or factory disc spindles without the need for spindle or housing modifications. No drilling is required, simplifying the upgrade process for professional or experienced automotive technicians.
Application. Specifically designed to fit the 1997 to 2013 Corvette C5 and C6 models, providing optimal fitment and performance for these vehicles.
