Upgrade to Superior Braking Performance. The Wilwood Forged Dynalite Pro Series Front Brake Kit with Drilled and Slotted Rotors is designed as an upgrade kit for earlier, non-ABS Mustangs. It features Wilwood’s powerful Forged Dynalite calipers, competition-grade rotors, and high-performance braking compound. If you’re looking for a dramatic boost in braking performance, this kit is an excellent choice.
Premium Grade Construction. The rotors are precision-machined from high-grade carbon iron for exceptional resistance to wear and thermal stability. Additionally, the durable e-coat provides outstanding protection against corrosion.
Drilled and Slotted Design. The rotors are drilled and slotted to provide an exceptional self-cleaning ability that removes dust and gasses generated by braking. This results in a smooth and clean contact surface for outstanding braking performance. Additionally, the rotors are vented to improve heat dissipation and prevent fade.
Street and Racing Compound. The kit includes the SmartPad BP-10 high-performance brake pads. These brake pads are designed to provide higher friction and are longer wearing than the stock replacement brake pads.
Low Dust and Noise. When used in combination with iron rotors, the SmartPad Bp-10 has low abrasion. This results in less dust and noise during braking.
Professional Installation Recommended. Installing the Front Brake Kit requires the modification of the stock steering spindle. Installation by a certified professional is recommended for the best results.
Upgrade Kit. The kit includes the parts includes (2) 11.00 in. Rotors, (2) Front 4-Piston Calipers, and a set front brake pads and installation hardware. Flex lines are not included in the kit.
