Description
Cuts Down Stopping Distance. Even with the terrific BMR suspension to improve overall ride quality along with the potent engine powering your fifth-gen Ford Mustang, you still need superior brakes so you come to a stop as quickly as possible. Enter the Wilwood AERO4 Rear Big Brake Kit, which comes with 6-piston calipers and 14-inch rotors to go on your rear wheels. With this kit installed on your car, you do not need to wait for long before your Mustang stops completely once you press the brake pedal. Its an improvement over the stock parts and makes it a must-have for street performance or track racing.
Provides Slotted-Design Advantage. While some rotors are plain-faced, the ones included in this AERO4 kit aren't. Their faces are marked with a series of slots, which remove the gases and brake dust created when the rotors move against the brake pads. By doing this, you will enjoy improved consistency with every stop.
Strong and Durable. The calipers, rotors, and rotor hats are made from stainless steel, iron, and aluminum, respectively. This means they are primed for the roughest driving experiences. The calipers sport a nice red powder coat finish for maximizing corrosion resistance, in addition to providing a stylistic boost. In the same capacity, a black electro-coat finish is applied on the rotor hats.
Direct Bolt-On Upgrade. Wilwood designed this rear brake kit to be a direct replacement of your stock Mustang calipers and rotors. It can take up to 4 hours to install the parts on the rear wheels.
Application. This Wilwood AERO4 Rear Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors is designed for use on the 2005–2014 Ford Mustang models equipped with a BMR suspension.
Application Note. This Wilwood AERO4 Rear Big Brake Kit requires the use of 18-inch or larger rims for proper clearance.
