    • 3.73 Gear Ratio
    • 7.5" Ring Gear Diameter
    • Superior Quality

    • Ideal for Street and Track Use
    • Fits 2005-2010 V6 Mustangs
Improve Performance. Wake up the performance of your V6-powered Mustang by installing a set of 3.73 Yukon Gears. Ideal for both street and track applications, these Yukon Gears will place your 2005-2010 V6 Pony into its power band much quicker for faster off the line acceleration and more low end grunt.

3.73 Gear Ratio. 3.73 gears are a great combination of performance and fuel economy that are ideal for a daily-driven Mustangs that see a lot of highway time. If you put a lot of miles on your Pony and don't want to increase your cost at the pump, a 3.73 ratio will still give you the added acceleration you want without dramatically compromising fuel economy.

Quality Construction. Made from incredibly durable forged 8620 triple alloy steel for superior strength, Yukon backs their Ring and Pinion with a 1-year limited warranty. Yukon also takes full advantage of the most up to date state of the art technology in their design and manufacturing process. No matter how you look at it, this gear set is built to last.

Recommended Upgrade. Changing the rear axle gear ratio will throw off the calibration of your Mustangs speedometer, but a Ford Racing Speedometer Recalibration Tool is an inexpensive way to fix this issue.

Application. This 3.73 Yukon Ring and Pinion Gear set will fit all 2005 to 2010 V6 Ford Mustangs equipped with a 7.5" rear end. A master bearing kit is recommended by most installers, especially on high mileage vehicles, see drop down option above.

Technical Note. Installation costs will vary, but a good rule of thumb is between $250 and $300. Be sure to work with a reliable shop that you trust for installations.

Yukon 3.73 gear and pinion kit

Install was long as fitment was an issue. Had to pull diff in and out multiple times. Even after that the gears are noisy ( high pitch whining ). Called Yukon directly and I was told some noise would be considered normal and they agreed it sounded excessive. They tried to help me troubleshoot but basically would consist of me going back to my mechanic and pay more money for labor to maybe fix it. Installer wasn't a fan of the brand either. Come to find out it says made in China right on the box. I would have NEVER put it in my car had a known that before. And the Yukon brand LSD says assembled in America just so you guys know. Now they do seem to make the car accelerate more efficiently. But fitment is no good.

            3.73 Gears

After attempting to install myself with an experienced mechanic by my side, we discovered the gears are not an exact fit. We were not satisfied with our effort so the car went to a transmission shop who reinstalled the gears and limited slip differential 3 times before finally getting an acceptable fit. The Pro said the Yukon product has some variation in size of gear teeth - not an exact fit requiring a bit of manipulation. There is some gear noise still.

I have a 07 mustang v6 I installed these on. I paired them with a Yukon brand posi unit as well and can say I couldn't b happier. Takeoff is instant and it gives u a feel of real power in ur step. It does effect ur gas mileage very minimally but for the instant power to the foot it is worth it. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a little edge to add
