        Zex Blackout. Is the standard "Purple" Zex kit a little to flashy for your taste? Well then checkout the Zex Blackout Nitrous System available from AmericanMuscle. The Zex Blackout System delivers the same exact power as before just with a subtle new look. The kit features a black powder-coated bottle, plate, fittings and carbon fiber-style hoses for an unprecedented new look.

        Gain Up to 175HP. ZEX Wet Injected Nitrous Systems include 75, 100, 125, 150, and 175 shot jets that will get your Pony flying down the track faster than you ever thought possible for less money than you'd believe. It doesn't get cheaper to add that much power to your Mustang.

        Advanced Electronic Control. ZEX's Wet Injected Nitrous system uses patented "Active Fuel Control" that automatically adjusts nitrous fuel enrichment with bottle pressure. The result is that your engine never runs too rich or too lean, preventing engine damage. Unlike other less expensive systems, the ZEX "Wet" nitrous systems activate at wide-open throttle using advanced electronics that monitor your engine's throttle position sensor voltage to ensure activation at precisely the right time. This makes using your nitrous system very easy and reliable.

        Better Nitrous Delivery. Unlike "dry" nitrous systems which inject nitrous directly, ZEX Wet Nitrous Systems connect to your fuel system and controls the amounts of fuel and nitrous using their management unit. The result is better control, complete fuel atomization, and more power.

        Application. This Zex Blackout Nitrous Kit is designed for use on the 2011 to 2014 Mustang GT, equipped with the Four Valve 5.0L V8 Coyote engine.

        • This ZEX Blackout Nitrous System does not include a Purge System (Sold Separately).

        Will this kit work with a vmp blower on a 2014 mustang gt? What extra will I have to buy?

        • The ZEX Blackout Nitrous System could be used with a supercharger, however custom tuning would be required, and you would need to ensure your engine is capable of withstanding the additional power. We recommend checking with your tuner for their recommendations on supporting mods to do this.

        what would i have to do to convert this to a 3.7 2012 mustang ,thanks,traded mine in and kept the kit

        • The ZEX Blackout Nitrous System is designed to work with the GT Mustangs only. I would recommend purchasing the correct kit for your 2012 V6. For any type of modification for this kit I would recommend checking with ZEX first.

        Does this come with a window switch?

        • No, it does not. You must buy separately and I recommend it 100%, its a perfect companion for the system and an easy install that you may get from Zex as well, never short change the safety of your engine and your peace of mind!

        Do i need a Fuel system upgrade? My next purchase will be this zex kit soon and i want to put the 150 jet on my 2011 GT. I have a manuel and the only after market parts are an offroad xpipe and a tune. I have seen on some you tube videos where people say they are running out of fuel on older mustangs, so im curious with a 150 shot, and the mods i already have; will i have to get a upgraded fuel system? Also is the purge kit really a requirement if im not going to be at the track but maybe once a year.=? 2 answers

          An Easy, Inexpensive and Significant HP Gain!

          I researched nearly all of the Nitrous kits available for my 2012 Mustang GT, and the ZEX kit ended up at the top of my list. The kit took longer to install then stated by ZEX, as I also added a purge kit, bottle warmer, gauge, blowdown and a very nice switch kit offered by a different vendor. All in all, a great way to get some additional RWHP, for a reasonable amount of money. Granted, I can only safely jet it for a 100 shot, due to the limitations on the tune from AM's BAMA group, but I will eventually bite the bullet and get it dyno-tuned for the full 175 shot capability of this kit. But for now, it has turned my Coyote into a real bow-tie meat-eater. Very cool and very recommended.

          2011 mustang gt zex nitrous kit

          Kit came with everything needed to install, came with great instructions! I put the jets in for the 100 shot and have used it several times with no hiccups. I would recommend it to anyone who wants cheap horsepower
