This clutch is engineered to improve engagement and longevity on vehicles with moderate to increased power outputs.
Construction and Appearance. The kit features a steel-backed clutch disc with a super copper-loaded organic friction material, paired with a reinforced heavy-duty diaphragm pressure plate and ductile iron friction plate for controlled heat management. The components are heat treated and dynamically balanced for smooth operation and durability, with a patented enclosed spring retainer system to prevent failures.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill; no additional drilling is necessary as it is a bolt-on direct replacement. It includes necessary components such as the pilot bearing, bushing, and alignment tool for convenient fitting.
Application. This clutch kit fits the 2001 to 2004 Chevrolet Corvette C5 Z06 with a 5.7L LS6 engine configuration and excludes the slave and release bearing from the kit.
