Description
Race Bred. The Mustang Boss 302 has a storied racing history reaching back to the late 60s early 70s. It was a high performance version that was created for the SCCA's Trans-Am road racing series and boy did it deliver. But you knew that. That is why you bought a new Boss 302 and now it is time to make it even better. The American Racing Headers 1-3/4 in. Long Tube Headers w/ Catted X-Pipe is a system that will increase your horsepower and the performance for your Boss 302 and help you write the next chapter for this American classic.
Attention To Detail. To go racing you need the best equipment made of the best materials. These headers are made completely out of 304 stainless steel with hand-ported and TIG welded inlets. The primary tube routing has been optimized into merge collectors that have scavenger spikes making the flow faster and more efficient. The cats are made of 200 cell metallic substrate for durability and the X-pipe ensures even flow through the dual exhaust.
Installation Notes. These headers will bolt right into place with a standard set of mechanic's tools. Be aware that they may need to be some welding and cutting needed to remove the old exhaust and connect with this new system.
