Description
Premium Carbon Fiber Hood. The Anderson Composites Type-CP Style Hood; Carbon Fiber is designed to provide a lightweight, high-performance upgrade for your Camaro. This hood enhances both the vehicle’s aesthetics and performance by significantly reducing weight while maintaining strength and durability, making it ideal for enthusiasts seeking a combination of style and function.
Construction and Appearance. It is crafted using a vacuum infusion process with 3K 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth and coated with a marine-grade gel coat containing UV inhibitors to protect against surface damage and ensure a polished, high-luster finish. The carbon fiber “skeleton” bonded to the underside adds strength without adding extra weight.
Installation. The hood mounts using original equipment hardware, which is not included. Minor adjustments may be required for the best fit, and professional installation is recommended for optimal results. Drilling is typically not necessary.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit 2016-2024 Camaro LT, LT1, and SS models, featuring the COPO style aggressive cowl bulge design.
