Description
High-Performance Brake System. The Baer Extreme+ Front 4-Lug Big Brake Kit with 14-inch rotors and Fire Red calipers is engineered to deliver superior stopping power for enhanced safety and performance. It provides consistent and reliable braking response whether on the street or the track.
Construction and Appearance. The calipers are precision CNC machined from US-sourced 2618 aluminum forging and finished with a durable powder coat in Fire Red. Stainless steel pistons, abutments, and noise suppression clips are incorporated for longevity and corrosion resistance. The two-piece rotors are slot-drilled, zinc-plated, and equipped with billet aluminum hats, combining high performance with a refined look.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills and modification of OE V8 spindles from 1987-1993. The kit includes detailed instructions to help ensure proper and secure fitment.
Application. This brake kit is designed specifically for 1979-1993 Ford Mustang models equipped with OE V8 4-lug spindles, excluding Cobra variants. Compatibility requires the use of OE V8 spindles from model years 1987-1993.
