The Baer Extreme+ Front 4-Lug Big Brake Kit with 14-Inch Rotors and Silver Calipers delivers exceptional braking power for improved stopping performance and increased safety. Designed to replace the factory braking system, it enhances vehicle control and durability for spirited street driving and track use.
Construction and Appearance. This kit features a one-piece monoblock 6-piston caliper crafted from US sourced 2618 aluminum forging, CNC machined for precision and finished with a durable powder coat. The rotors are zinc-plated, two-piece designs with slots and drill holes, while billet aluminum hats provide added strength and corrosion resistance.
Installation. Installation requires spindle modification and careful adherence to the provided instructions, making it suited for experienced installers. No rotor drilling is necessary as the rotors come pre-drilled and pre-assembled with hardware.
Application. Designed specifically to fit 1979-1993 Mustang models equipped with 1987-1993 V8 4-lug spindles, excluding Cobra models. Proper spindle usage is essential for correct fitment.
