The Baer Extreme+ Front 5-Lug Big Brake Kit with 14-Inch Rotors; Grabber Blue Calipers offers a significant stopping power enhancement designed for aggressive street and track use. It provides superior heat dissipation and consistent braking performance, essential for maintaining control and safety during demanding driving conditions.

      Construction and Appearance. The calipers are CNC machined from 2618 aluminum forgings sourced in the USA, ensuring strength and lightweight performance. Featuring a durable powder-coated Grabber Blue finish, the 1-piece Monoblock design incorporates stainless steel pistons and abutments with dual sealing for longevity and noise reduction. The 14-inch rotors are 2-piece, slotted, drilled, and zinc-plated with billet aluminum hats for improved cooling and aesthetics.

      Installation. Installation involves spindle modifications and requires moderate mechanical skills. The kit comes complete with all necessary mounting brackets, stainless braided hoses, and hardware for a direct bolt-on fitment.

      Application. This brake system fits 1979-1993 Ford Mustangs equipped with original equipment V8 spindles and a 5-lug configuration. Spindle modification is required as outlined in the included installation instructions.
