High-Performance Brake System. The Baer Extreme+ Front 5-Lug Big Brake Kit with 14-Inch Rotors and Monster Green Calipers delivers superior stopping power and durability for performance driving. It is ideal for upgrading the front brake system of select classic muscle cars to enhance safety and control, providing robust components suitable for both street and track use.
Construction and Appearance. These calipers are CNC machined from US-sourced 2618 aluminum forging, ensuring strength and precision. A durable powder-coated finish offers excellent corrosion resistance and a sleek look. The rotors feature a two-piece, zinc-plated design combined with a billet aluminum hat, providing lightweight performance and enhanced durability.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and spindle modification as outlined in the included instructions. The kit fits 5-lug OE V8 spindles and may require specific tools due to the custom design. Careful adherence to the instructions ensures proper fitment and safety.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 1979 to 1993 Mustang models equipped with OE 5-lug V8 spindles. This kit does not fit earlier spindle designs without modification.
