Description
High-Performance Brake Kit. The Baer Pro+ Front 4-Lug Big Brake Kit with 13-Inch Rotors; Fire Red Calipers delivers enhanced stopping power and improved brake feel for classic Mustangs. This system is designed to upgrade front braking performance with advanced six-piston calipers and large, vented rotors for professional-grade braking efficiency and durability.
Construction and Appearance. The calipers are CNC machined from US-sourced forged or billet aluminum, ensuring superior strength and precision. The rotors feature a two-piece design with zinc plating, slotted and drilled surfaces for heat dissipation and cleaning, and billet aluminum hats for weight reduction. The calipers are powder coated for corrosion resistance and a sleek finish, while stainless steel pistons and hardware provide longevity and noise reduction.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills and careful attention to fitment specifications. This kit fits most 17-inch or larger wheels and requires the use of 87-93 V8 spindles only. All necessary mounting brackets, stainless braided hoses, and hardware are included, and no drilling is required for mounting the rotors and calipers.
Application. Designed specifically for 1979 to 1993 Ford Mustangs equipped with original equipment V8 spindles, excluding Cobra models. This kit does not fit the Cobra due to unique spindle requirements and lug patterns.
