High-Performance Braking System. The Baer Pro+ Front 4-Lug Big Brake Kit with 13-Inch Rotors and Red Calipers delivers enhanced stopping power and reliability for demanding driving conditions. Designed for enthusiasts seeking superior control and safety on their 1979-1993 Mustang, this system is ideal for upgrading OEM brakes to handle increased power and track use.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from CNC machined forged or billet aluminum sourced in the USA, the calipers feature a durable powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance and style. The zinc-plated, two-piece rotors include stainless steel hardware and billet aluminum hats, combining strength with a premium aesthetic. Stainless steel pistons and noise reduction components reduce wear and operational noise, ensuring longevity and performance.
Installation. Installation requires spindle modifications as specified in the included instructions; however, the kit is a direct bolt-on for compatible vehicles. Due to variations in wheel style, checking wheel clearance is recommended. This kit is designed to fit 17-inch or larger wheels.
Application. Fits 79-93 Mustang with OE V8 spindles, excluding Cobra models, requiring spindle modification as described in the instructions.
