Description
High-Performance Brake System. The Baer Pro+ Front 4-Lug Big Brake Kit with 14-Inch Rotors; Fire Red Calipers offers a comprehensive front brake upgrade designed to deliver superior stopping power for enhanced safety and driving performance. Built for demanding street or track use, this kit improves braking efficiency and pedal feel, accommodating larger wheels and high-performance tires.
Construction and Appearance. The brake kit features CNC machined calipers forged or billet from US-sourced aluminum, finished with a durable powder coating for corrosion resistance. The 14-inch rotors are two-piece designs combining a zinc-plated, slotted and drilled steel rotor with a billet aluminum hat. Stainless steel pistons and hardware provide longevity, while stainless braided hoses ensure reliable fluid delivery.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and spindle modification to fit the 87-93 V8 spindle assemblies. The kit includes all necessary mounting brackets, hardware, and hoses to facilitate a straightforward bolt-on upgrade for compatible vehicles.
Warranty. This product comes with a manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 1979 to 1993 Ford Mustang models equipped with original equipment V8 spindles, excluding Cobra models. Requires use of 87-93 V8 5-lug spindles and spindle modification as per installation instructions.
