Description
High-Performance Front Brake Kit. The Baer Pro+ Front 4-Lug Big Brake Kit with 14-Inch Rotors and Red Calipers is engineered to deliver superior stopping power and enhanced braking performance. It is ideal for upgrading the brake system on street or track vehicles, providing consistent and reliable braking force under demanding conditions.
Construction and Features. This kit includes a 6-piston fixed caliper CNC machined from US-sourced forged or billet aluminum for exceptional strength and durability. Components feature a durable powder-coated finish, with stainless steel pistons, abutments, and noise suppression clips for long-lasting performance. The rotors are two-piece, vented, slotted, and drilled with zinc plating for corrosion resistance, complemented by billet aluminum hubs.
Installation. Installation requires spindle modifications and is moderately challenging. The rotors come pre-drilled and slotted, eliminating the need for drilling during installation. The kit includes all necessary mounting brackets, stainless braided hoses, and hardware for a comprehensive upgrade.
Application. This front brake system fits 1979-1993 Ford Mustangs equipped with OE V8 spindles, excluding Cobra models, and requires the use of 1987-1993 V8 spindles (5-lug configuration).
