High-Performance Rear Brake Kit. The Baer Pro+ Rear 4-Lug Big Brake Kit with 13-Inch Rotors and Comp Yellow Calipers is engineered to significantly enhance braking performance on the rear axle. It offers superior stopping power and efficient heat dissipation, making it ideal for improved control during spirited driving or track use. This system is perfect for those upgrading their rear brakes for both safety and performance on a 1993 Mustang, excluding the Cobra models.
Construction and Appearance. The calipers are CNC machined from U.S.-sourced forged or billet aluminum, delivering exceptional strength while remaining lightweight. All components feature a durable powder-coated finish to resist corrosion and provide an attractive appearance. The rotors are two-piece, zinc plated with billet aluminum hats, while being slotted and drilled to optimize cooling and brake pad engagement.
Installation. Designed for a straightforward installation, this kit bolts directly onto the factory 8.8-inch c-clip rear end and 4-lug axles without requiring modifications or additional drilling, making the upgrade process simple for experienced installers.
Application. Compatible with the 1993 Ford Mustang equipped with the original 8.8-inch c-clip rear end and 4-lug axle setup. This kit excludes Mustang Cobra models and requires wheel diameters of 17 inches or larger.
