High-Performance Rear Brake Kit. The Baer Pro+ Rear 4-Lug Big Brake Kit with 13-Inch Rotors and Grabber Blue Calipers delivers exceptional stopping power and durability for rear braking systems. Designed for performance driving and street use, this kit improves brake modulation and heat dissipation, essential for enhanced safety and control.
Construction and Appearance. The kit features 6-piston calipers CNC machined from U.S. sourced forged or billet aluminum with a powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance and visual appeal. Rotors are two-piece, slotted, drilled, and zinc plated, with billet aluminum hats for strength and lightweight performance.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and no additional drilling, as it mounts directly to the OE Ford 8.8" C-clip rear end with included hardware. A master cylinder upgrade is recommended to optimize braking performance.
Warranty. This brake kit includes a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 1979-1992 Ford Mustang models equipped with the OE Ford 8.8" C-clip rear end and 4-lug axle configuration.
