Description

The Baer Pro+ Rear 4-Lug Big Brake Kit with 14-Inch Rotors and Comp Yellow Calipers provides a significant improvement in rear braking performance for 1979-1992 Ford Mustangs equipped with the OE 8.8" c-clip rear end. Designed to offer superior stopping power and fade resistance, it is ideal for enthusiasts upgrading their vehicle’s brake system for street or track use.
Construction and Appearance. This kit features a 6-piston floating caliper made from US-sourced forged or billet aluminum, CNC machined for precision. It includes a durable powder coated finish and stainless steel components such as pistons, abutments, and noise suppression clips. The vented 14-inch rotors have a two-piece design with a billet aluminum hat and are zinc plated with slotted and drilled surfaces for enhanced cooling and performance.
Installation. The kit is designed for a direct bolt-on installation requiring no drilling. Included are stainless braided hoses and all necessary hardware for a complete update to the rear brake system.
Application. Fits 1979 through 1992 Ford Mustang models equipped with the original Ford 8.8" c-clip rear axle in a 4-lug configuration. It is recommended to upgrade the master cylinder for optimal performance and safety during installation.
