Construction and Appearance. Featuring a 6-piston floating caliper machined from forged or billet aluminum sourced in the USA, the caliper is finished with a durable powder coat for corrosion resistance. The rotors are two-piece vented units with a slotted and drilled surface, zinc-plated hats, and stainless steel hardware to ensure durability and effective heat dissipation.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with direct bolt-on fitment requiring no additional drilling. For optimal brake system performance, a master cylinder upgrade is recommended. The comprehensive kit includes stainless braided brake hoses and integrated parking brake assemblies for a complete setup.
Application. This brake kit fits 1979 to 1992 Ford Mustang models equipped with the original Ford 8.8-inch c-clip rear end and 5-lug axles. It is designed for use with 17-inch or larger wheels.
