The Baer Pro+ Rear 5-Lug Big Brake Kit with 13-Inch Rotors in Monster Green Calipers offers an advanced braking solution designed to upgrade rear brake performance for the 1993 Mustang. This system delivers superior stopping power essential for both street and performance driving, enhancing safety and vehicle control.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured using forged or billet aluminum sourced from the US, the 6-piston calipers are CNC machined for precision and feature a durable powder coated finish. The rotors are zinc-plated, vented, slotted, and drilled with a billet aluminum hat, providing excellent heat dissipation and corrosion resistance while giving an aggressive visual appeal.
Installation. The kit installs directly to the OE Ford 8.8 inch C-clip rear axle with a 5 lug configuration, requiring no custom drilling. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill, and all necessary hardware along with stainless braided hoses are included for a complete upgrade.
Application. This kit is specifically designed to fit the 1993 Mustang equipped with the OE Ford 8.8 inch C-clip rear end and 5 lug axles. It does not fit Cobra or other later Mustang models equipped with different rear axle configurations.
