High-Performance Rear Brake Kit. The Baer Pro+ Rear 5-Lug Big Brake Kit with 14-Inch Rotors and Monster Green Calipers is designed to provide enhanced stopping power and superior brake modulation. Engineered primarily for performance enthusiasts and track drivers, it upgrades the rear braking capability for improved safety and handling. This kit is essential for maintaining control during aggressive driving or high-speed conditions.
Construction and Appearance. The kit features two-piece rotors with vented, slotted, and drilled zinc-plated surfaces paired with billet aluminum hats for optimized heat dissipation and reduced unsprung weight. The six-piston floating calipers are CNC machined from US-sourced forged or billet aluminum, finished with a durable powder coating. Stainless steel pistons and hardware resist corrosion and promote long-lasting, noise-free operation.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no additional drilling and designed to directly fit the OE Ford 8.8-inch rear end with five lugs. Basic mechanical proficiency and standard tools are sufficient to complete the swap.
Application. This brake kit is specifically formulated to fit the 1993 Ford Mustang equipped with the original Ford 8.8-inch C-clip rear end and five-lug axles. It excludes the Cobra variant and may require a master cylinder upgrade for optimal performance.
