Description
High-Performance Rear Brake Kit. The Baer SS4 Rear 4-Lug Big Brake Kit with 12-Inch Rotors and Grabber Blue Calipers delivers superior stopping power and enhanced brake control for your Mustang. Designed for performance enthusiasts, this kit upgrades the rear braking system to improve safety and driving confidence on both street and track.
Construction and Appearance. The system features a 4-piston floating S4 caliper CNC machined from US sourced forged or billet aluminum for strength and durability. Finished with a powder coat and hard anodized aluminum pistons, the calipers resist corrosion while providing a striking Grabber Blue appearance. The rotor is a vented, one-piece, zinc-plated design that is both slotted and drilled to improve cooling and reduce brake fade.
Installation. This kit installs using the OE Ford 8.8-inch C-clip rear end with 4 lug axle configuration and requires no rotor or caliper drilling. It is a bolt-on upgrade, and a master cylinder upgrade is recommended for optimal performance.
Application. This brake system fits Ford Mustang models from 1979 through 1992 equipped with an OE Ford 8.8-inch C-clip rear end and 4-lug wheels. It is designed exclusively for these vehicles and configurations.
