The Baer SS4+ Rear 4-Lug Big Brake Kit with 13-Inch Rotors and Comp Yellow Calipers offers advanced stopping power for enhanced rear braking performance on Fox Body Mustangs. This system delivers consistent, fade-resistant braking essential for both street and track use, providing improved control and safety.
Construction and Appearance. Calipers are CNC machined from US-sourced forged or billet aluminum and finished with a durable powder coat for corrosion resistance. The rotors are two-piece, vented, slotted, and drilled with zinc plating and billet aluminum hats for superior heat dissipation and a professional, race-inspired look.
Installation. This brake kit is designed for direct bolt-on installation with no drilling required, simplifying the upgrade process. A master cylinder upgrade is recommended to optimize braking performance with this system.
Application. Fits 79-92 Mustang models equipped with the original Ford 8.8-inch c-clip rear end and 4-lug axles. Requires 17-inch or larger wheels for proper clearance of brake components.
