High-Performance Rear Brake Kit. The Baer SS4+ Rear 4-Lug Big Brake Kit with 13-Inch Rotors and Grabber Blue Calipers delivers superior stopping power for performance driving and street use. It enhances rear braking efficiency on compatible vehicles, providing reliable heat dissipation and consistent pad contact for improved safety and control.
Construction and Appearance. The system features a 4-piston floating S4 caliper machined from U.S.-sourced forged or billet aluminum with a durable powder-coated finish. Rotors are 2-piece, vented, slotted, and drilled zinc-plated with billet aluminum hats, combining durability with corrosion resistance and aesthetic appeal.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with all necessary hardware included and requires no additional drilling. The kit mounts directly to the OE Ford 8.8-inch c-clip rear end on 4-lug axles and is designed to fit most 17-inch or larger wheels.
Warranty. A comprehensive manufacturer warranty covers the brake kit.
Application. This brake kit fits 1979-1992 Mustang models equipped with the OE Ford 8.8-inch c-clip rear end and 4-lug wheel pattern. It is not compatible with other rear-end configurations or wheel lug counts.
