Description
High-Performance Rear Brake Kit. The Baer SS4 Rear 5-Lug Big Brake Kit with 12-Inch Rotors; Fire Red Calipers delivers enhanced stopping power and durability for demanding driving conditions. Designed specifically for rear axle use, this kit improves braking response and safety by upgrading components to a four-piston caliper system combined with large, vented rotors.
Construction and Appearance. This brake system features two-piece S4 calipers CNC machined from forged or billet aluminum sourced in the USA, finished with a durable powder coat. The rotors are one-piece, zinc-plated, slotted and drilled for optimal heat dissipation and corrosion resistance. Hard anodized aluminum pistons and stainless steel hardware deliver strength and noise reduction.
Installation. Installation requires standard brake system knowledge and tools, with no additional drilling needed for fitment onto compatible 1993 Mustang rear axle configurations. The kit mounts directly using an integrated backing plate that supports the caliper and park brake assembly.
Warranty. This brake system includes a manufacturer-backed warranty ensuring product quality and performance.
Application. Fits 1993 Mustang models equipped with the original equipment Ford 8.8-inch c-clip rear end with 5-lug wheels. This kit excludes Cobra models from that year and recommends upgrading the master cylinder for optimal brake function.
