This kit increases stopping power and heat dissipation via larger rotors and multi-piston calipers, making it ideal for spirited driving or track use. It replaces the original rear brake system with a more robust and reliable setup designed for high-performance applications.
Construction and Appearance. The kit features CNC-machined calipers made from U.S. sourced forged or billet aluminum, providing strength and weight savings. The pistons are hard anodized aluminum paired with stainless steel abutments for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. The one-piece rotors are vented, slotted, and drilled with protective zinc plating to resist rust and improve cooling efficiency. The calipers are finished in a durable Grabber Blue powder coat for a distinctive look and long-lasting protection.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, with the kit mounting via a unique backing plate that integrates the parking brake assembly. There is no need to drill the hubs or rotors. Although the installation is accessible for experienced mechanics, upgrading the master cylinder is recommended for optimized braking performance.
