Construction and Appearance. This brake kit features CNC-machined calipers made from U.S.-sourced forged or billet aluminum, ensuring strength, durability, and lightweight characteristics. The calipers are finished with a powder coating for long-lasting corrosion resistance, and the hard-anodized aluminum pistons with stainless steel abutments reduce wear and noise. The rotors are two-piece, vented, slotted, and drilled with a zinc-plated surface, offering effective heat dissipation, corrosion protection, and aggressive styling.
Installation. Installation of this system is straightforward with no drilling required. It utilizes a unique backing plate that mounts the caliper and houses the integrated one-piece parking brake shoe assembly.
