Description
High-Performance Rear Brake Kit. The Baer SS4+ Rear 5-Lug Big Brake Kit with 13-Inch Rotors and Grabber Blue Calipers offers superior stopping power designed for demanding driving conditions. This brake system replaces the factory rear brakes with high-quality components that improve braking performance and safety on your 1993 Mustang.
Construction and Appearance. The calipers are CNC machined from US sourced forged or billet aluminum, providing strength and lightweight properties. Components have a durable powder coat finish with hard anodized aluminum pistons. The rotors feature a zinc-plated, drilled, and slotted design with billet aluminum hats and NAS stainless hardware for corrosion resistance and visual appeal.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill but does not involve drilling on the vehicle, as this kit bolts directly onto the OE Ford 8.8” c-clip rear end with 5-lug axles. Included are stainless braided brake hoses and the necessary hardware for installation.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit the 1993 Ford Mustang with the original equipment 8.8-inch c-clip rear end and five-lug configuration. For optimal braking performance, a master cylinder upgrade is recommended.
