Description
High-Performance Rear Braking System. The Baer SS4+ Rear 5-Lug Big Brake Kit with 13-Inch Rotors; Grabber Blue Calipers is engineered to provide superior stopping power and enhanced braking performance for the rear axle. This complete upgrade kit enhances brake feel, heat dissipation, and durability, making it suitable for both street and performance use.
Construction and Appearance. Equipped with 4-piston floating S4 calipers CNC machined from US-sourced forged or billet aluminum and finished with a durable powder-coated finish. The kit features 13-inch, 2-piece vented rotors that are slotted, drilled, and zinc plated with billet aluminum hats. Hard anodized aluminum pistons along with stainless steel abutments and noise suppression clips ensure long-lasting performance and corrosion resistance.
Installation. Designed for direct bolt-on installation with no drilling required. Fits 5-lug rear axles and requires wheels with a minimum diameter of 17 inches for proper clearance. A master cylinder upgrade is recommended to achieve optimal braking performance.
Warranty. This brake system includes a manufacturer warranty that guarantees quality and reliability throughout the life of the product.
Application. Specifically built to fit 1979-1992 Mustangs equipped with the OE Ford 8.8-inch C-clip rear end and 5 lug axles. A master cylinder upgrade is recommended for vehicles within this range to ensure proper brake system performance.
