This kit is ideal for enthusiasts seeking to upgrade their front braking system to handle more demanding driving conditions while maintaining street legality.
Construction and Appearance. The brake components feature a CNC-machined caliper made from forged or billet aluminum sourced from US materials, finished with a durable powder coating to resist corrosion. The one-piece rotors are zinc-plated with drilled and slotted surfaces to optimize cooling and debris evacuation, complemented by stainless steel pistons and hardware for longevity and reliable operation.
Installation. Installation requires careful spindle modifications to fit the specified V8 spindles from 1987 to 1993. The process is moderately challenging and involves ensuring compatibility with the four-lug, 4x4.25 bolt pattern wheels of at least 17 inches in diameter.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit 1979 through 1993 Mustangs equipped with original equipment V8 spindles, excluding Cobra models due to differing spindle designs and fitment requirements.
