Description
Premium Front Brake Kit. The Baer Track4 Front 4-Lug Big Brake Kit with 13-Inch Rotors and Red Calipers provides enhanced stopping power and increased durability for performance driving. Designed to upgrade the front braking system, it improves safety and control for Mustang enthusiasts looking for reliable and consistent brake performance on the street or occasional track use.
Construction and Appearance. This system features CNC machined forged or billet aluminum components finished with a powder coat for lasting resistance to corrosion and wear. The caliper employs stainless steel pistons and hardware with a staggered piston design for even pad wear. The rotor is a one-piece vented unit with slotted and drilled zinc plating to optimize heat dissipation and reduce brake fade.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and spindle modification, with detailed instructions provided. The kit is designed exclusively for use with 87-93 V8 4-lug spindles. Wheel fitment should be verified carefully as the minimum wheel diameter required is 17 inches, but clearance can vary depending on wheel design.
Application. Fits 79-93 Mustang with 87-93 OE V8 4-lug spindles only, excluding Cobra models. This brake upgrade is not compatible with other spindle types or Mustang models outside this range.
