Description
High-Performance Braking Solution. The Baer Track4 Front 5-Lug Big Brake Kit with 13-Inch Rotors; Comp Yellow Calipers provides substantial stopping power for enhanced control and safety. Designed for aggressive street and light track use, this kit improves brake modulation and reduces fade under demanding conditions. It is ideal for upgrading braking performance on compatible Mustang models.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured in the USA, the calipers are CNC machined from forged or billet aluminum, ensuring strength and precision. The calipers feature a durable powder-coated finish and stainless steel components for corrosion resistance and longevity. The rotors are one-piece, vented, with slots and drilled holes, and finished with zinc plating to prevent rust and maintain appearance.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and spindle modifications due to the 87-93 V8 spindle compatibility requirement. The rotors come pre-slotted and drilled, so no additional drilling is necessary.
Application. This brake kit fits 1979-1993 Ford Mustangs equipped with original equipment 87-93 V8 5-lug spindles only. It is not compatible with earlier spindle designs or other vehicles outside this specification.
