Features like OEM die stamped throttle linkages, double sealed bearings, and o ringed throttle shafts make this throttle body one of best on the market today.Fitment. The BBK 75mm Throttle Body is specifically designed to fit the 1994 to 1995 5.0 V8 Mustangs.

        BBK 75 mm tb

Over all it took me about a day to install. I would recommend going ahead and getting a new tps to go with this tb just because the screws holding the tps to the tb are easy to strip and once that happens it's near impossible to remove the tps and be able to reuse it. But other than that run around trying to find a new tps it took about 20 min to install. I would recommend this tb to anyone looking for an upgrade.

5 1994 GT - REDHOT Installation Time: Afternoon

BBK 75mm throttle body helped me squeeze out over 300hp at the wheels

I converted my carbureted 302 small block to EFI with a 75mm BBK throttle body supported by a 75mm MAF and blue top injectors in my 1994 Ford Mustang GT. Took it to the dyno the following week and after a good tune, I accomplished 308 rwhp and 337 ft/lbs of torque... Not too bad for a naturally aspirated, old pushrod small block...

      4 Top Rated Questions

What is cosidered a heavily modified engine? I own a 95 GT with a 5.0 at this time it is all stock. I plan on buying a BBK cold air intake and throttle body but not sure if I want the 70mm or 75mm. I don't plan on doing anything drastic to the engine. Although, do plan on a performance exhaust and ignition upgrade. Would the 75mm be to big for a set up like this? Any input would be appreciated, thank you.

      • Unless you plan to do a bunch more engine upgrades other than the Cold Air Intake, the 75mm would be too much for you. The 70mm TB would give you the performance you are looking for without over doing it. The 75mm would not hurt your engine, although your motor isn't pushing enough air to really benefit from that large of a throttle body. Hope this helps to answer your question.

i have a 95 mustang gt im doing a new cold air intake, all new exhaust system from the headers back i do plan on doing engine work later down the line would this be a good one to start with as i am redoing the whole air flow for the mustang?

      • Unless you are going to add a boosted application, like a turbo or supercharger, or otherwise similar significantly modify your Mustang, I would actually suggest to go with a 70mm throttle body. The reason being is 75mm is actually too open without that significant amount of power.

what is the best throttle body for a 95 gt

      • Hello! The best throttle body is going to depend on your application. For instance, this BBK 75mm Throttle Body would be great for a heavily modified GT, but a stock GT wouldn't flow enough air.
