      Don't bother

I thought these were good because they were an upgrade to factory when I bought the BBK headers, the shop that installed them explained the difference and showed me new factory gaskets and there is no comparison that these are lacking in build quality. I had them returned, thanks AM for accepting them back. Just stick to factory on this one. I have no leaks to date and am happy.

      Sealed up great!

My 06 mustang GT started ticking and it sounded like it was coming from the passenger side header. I have BBK shorties and turns out it was the gasket. Thanks American muscle! And BBK!

      Go Blue

Installed the BBK gaskets that came with the shortie headers. At three thousand miles I began to hear what is now a rather loud exhaust leak. I plan to swap these out for the Ford Racing gasket set. The prices and most parts found on AM are top notch but do yourself a favor. Anytime you can partner a performance part with a Ford Racing part DO SO it wil save you money on the long run.

      Leak-free header install

Now, most headers you buy don't come with gaskets. Most header manufacturers tell you to reuse the factory gaskets and bolt up their headers to your engine. Only problem I had is that after all this work installing, I don't want to redo it again because of a header gasket leak. I used these BBK Premium Header gaskets on my 3V header install and now have the piece of mind that I am installing cheap insurance to prevent future leaks. They matched my header tube inlets perfectly and sandwiched up to my heads without any problems. Everything lined up and the install was perfect. I highly recommend this addition to any header install. Since you have to use gaskets anyway, might as well use the best!

Good but not what I expected

These gaskets aren't bad, but the material they are made of isn't better than stock steel gaskets. Overall, not bad, but expected better...

Excellent quality does its job - would buy again

Does a great job. Let's face it, gaskets aren't very exciting unless you've been replacing failed gaskets and salvaged some for a while. That said, these are high quality gaskets, installed perfectly and do their job. I'd definitely buy again!
