Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com and as you can see I have a number of different shift knob options, all from Modern Billet™, fitting the 2011 and newer Mustang, available in your choice of either black or white resin, or satin or chrome Billet aluminum. Modern Billet™ is a company that specializes in making a number of different styling accessories for your Mustang. The first two options the bright chrome option, and the slightly more subtle satin option, work very well on the interiors of 2011 and newer cars, both have been CNC’d from a single block of T6 Billet aluminum, and I can tell you that because of this the knobs will have a good weight to them. The second pair of knobs do have more of a retro vibe going on thanks to the old school black or white appearance, these two have been CNC’d from a single bloc of either black or white resin, which is going to make them slightly different to the Billet aluminum knobs, for one, they’re not going to be nearly as heavy as those aluminum knobs, which some people will like while others like myself prefer a knob with a little more weight to it. On the hand those resin knobs aren’t going to get nearly as hot during the summer months or as cold during the winter months. All 4 shift knob options do come with this shift boot retainer which obviously fills the void left by removing the stock shift knob and holds the stock shift boot into place making for a cleaner appearance. As for the install, can’t get much easier here, remove the stock shift knob first, install that shift boot retainer, then screw the new shift knob into place. Getting everything done should only take you about 15 minutes from start to finish. The shifter is oftentimes considered to be the centerpiece in any interior, so if you’re looking to make a visual statement with your shift then be sure to check out one of these 4 options from Modern Billet™ for your 6 speed, right here at AmericanMuscle.com

Shifter is smaller and lighter than the stock shift knob. Feels amazing in my opinion and have been using it for about a month and definitely feels different, feels good. Smooth shifting and nice grip! Instillation took literally like 5 minutes, just make sure you lock it in place. It's so easy to install even your grandma can do it!!Helpful (0)

What size is it ? Thanks !
The Modern Billet Retro Style 6-Speed Shift Knob is approximately 2" in diameter.
Is there a way to order a shift knob with 3/8-16 thread pattern that some Hurst shifters use?
We do not offer special orders.
I want to get this shift knob but I'm having trouble taking off the one I already have and it's not the stock shift knob, any advice on how to take this one off ? It's the white shift knob shown in the video but with a grey metal base piece. Idk how long it's been on there but I know it's more than a year.
Some lubricants may be able to be used to carefully remove the current shift knob, if the knob has a lock or set nut, that will have to be loosened first before removal.
Fitment Question Does this fit the 401A package shifter on the 12 GT?
Yes it will fit the manual transmission of a 2012 GT.
Reverse for GT500 I'd love to get this shift nob, but it appears the reverse it not the same as mine. My reverse is up to the right and this appears to be down to the right. Can this be confirmed?
This knob is up to the left.
