Improves Traction. You're going nowhere fast if you can't "hook up" off the line, that's why BMR Suspension designed these Mustang Single Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms to provide better traction, quicker launches, less wheel hop and as an added bonus improved 60ft times.

On-Car Adjustable. BMR Suspensions S197 Mustang Rear Lower Control Arms are on-car single adjustable, thanks to the QA1 Motorsports Teflon lined XM series spherical rod end bearings that allow you to dial in your suspensions settings just by turning a wrench with no removal needed for adjustments.

Tubular Construction. Made in the USA from heavy wall DOM steel tubing for superior strength and rigidity, these BMR Rear Lower Control Arms feature a spiral-fluted greasable polyurethane bushing at one end and a QA1 Motorsports XM series spherical rod end bearing (heim joint) at the other. These BMR Rear Lower Control Arms are completed in a durable black hammer-tone powdercoat finish for great looks and long lasting corrosion resistance.

Greasable. These BMR Rear Lower Control Arms feature greasable fittings that allow for easy on car maintenance of the highly durable energy suspension 90 durometer spiral-fluted polyurethane bushing.

Application. This set of two BMR Suspension Single Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms are designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade for all 2005 to 2014 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, BOSS and Shelby GT500 models. Technical Note. To retain the factory geometry, ensure the offset end of the Lower Control Arm is installed on the axle side, with the offset portion of the bushing facing towards the rear differential.

Do you guys suggest a fixed or adjustable lower control arm for a daily driver and occasional drag car?

    • Having the option to adjust the vehicle to be a bit stiffer when the car is on the track would be a very nice feature. However, if your Mustang is at stock height I would suggest staying with a fixed lower control arm, if you are lowered or planning on lowering the Mustang you will definitely want to go with an adjustable option. Here is a link to a very informative article on this subject for further reference.

Hey guys, what's the range of adjustability with these control arms? as in, center to center what is the shortest and longest you can make these LCAs. Thank you

    • The BMR On-Car Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms have a center to center measurement of 18.5". The maximum length is 19.875".

      BMR Lower Control Arms

I did a lot of research on lower control arms; practically read all the forum posts just to find the best setup for me. I ended up with poly/rod ends and I highly recommend it. First of all, I already have a BMR upper with Steeda differential bearing, which did not add any NVH, so I wasn’t afraid of going rod ends one one side. I would highly recommend everyone gets the rod end boots (Seals It RERS4) to protect the rod ends and to lessen the NVH it may cause. Once I installed these, I noticed the difference immediately. Car rides smoother and feels more responsive. No more fish-tailing when I punch the gas, the car just goes completely straight now! Best of all, no added NVH (again, rod end boots)! Both upper and lower control arms have made a huge difference in handling and just eliminating that wheel hop and fish tailing that we all hate about these cars. Don’t be afraid of the adjustability and rod ends on these arms!

      Little noisy, but worth it

My car has never hooked like this! Driven 130,000 miles with rear end hop and I didn't even realize why it was so sloppy. Now it just HOOKS!

      Great performance but beware!!!!

So price , looks, fitment all fantastic, they hook great look great etc... BUT.... the spherical rod end side WILL MAKE NOISE , and there is no solution to fix it, Spray as much WD40 you want its squeak squeak squeak so i called BMR and they will not replace it for that reason. Come to find out the rod ends are made by QA1 ok thats good to know... So called QA1 and they do not recomend those for DDriving etc... The part number for these rod ends is QA1- XMR12 and they are fairly cheap , If you want to upgrade these strength, longevity, etc.. QA1 recomends using Part number HMR-12T they are self lubricating and metal to metal not lined with teflon that dries out like the ones that come on the BMR lowers. Thats why i gave it 4 stars. They should come with rod ends geared twoards daily driving, in my opinion. Hope this helps someone.. lol

      Nice feel, easy install

I had SR Performance arms but they rusted out, so I got these to replace them. The bushings are just under-sized enough that you can slide them into the boxes with no effort. Very easy to adjust with the wheels off and the recommended angle setting feels much more planted than stock. One complaint I have is the Zerk fitting on one arm came off when I removed the grease gun. Not that it ripped out or stripped threads, but just fell out, as if the final drill used before tapping the hole was too large. Seems like something that should have been caught at a Quality checkpoint before shipping, but can possibly be fixed
