Description
Performance Enhancing Hood. The Type-Vip Style Ram Air Hood, Unpainted, is designed to replace the factory hood with a functional upgrade that directs cold intake air efficiently into the engine bay. It features heat extractor vents to remove hot air, improving overall engine cooling and performance, especially when paired with aftermarket performance air intake systems.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from hand laid high-quality fiberglass and resin, the hood has a smooth gel coat finish on both the top and underside to simplify prep before painting. Built-in aluminum wire mesh grill inserts are included where applicable to enhance durability and appearance.
Installation. This hood utilizes factory hinges and latch for straightforward installation without drilling. It requires a dry fit and hand finishing to ensure proper fitment and painting preparation.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 2014-2015 Chevrolet Camaro LS and LT V6 models only, with no compatibility for other trims or engines.
